Hank Tunnell A celebration of the life for Hansford "Hank" Roy Tunnell, 63, of Ralls were held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 5, 2004, at the Ralls First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Scott Parrish and the Rev. Jesse Hodge officiating. Burial was in the Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

He died Tuesday, March 2, 2004 at his home.

He was born on Feb. 21, 1941 in Slaton, Texas to Roy Victor and Mildred Holloway Tunnell, who preceded him in death. He married Sherry Grantham on Jan. 1, 1960 in Morton, Texas. In 1991, he and Sherry moved to the Ralls area from Lawton, Okla. He was a loving family man and a member of the Methodist Church. Although, he did not often voice his faith, he lived it every day. Hank made everything grow with his love of God, family, friends, and the soil he tilled. His family and friends appreciated his loving and caring spirit.

Survivors include his wife, Sherry of Ralls; a daughter, Malissa Tunnell of Santa Teresa, N.M.; a son, Tim and his wife Susan of Aurora, NE.; a brother, Victor Tunnell of Lubbock; a sister, Pam Fine and her husband James of Levelland; two grandchildren, Mollie Boone and Ethan Tunnell.

The family suggests memorials to: The Ronald McDonald House, 1212 Indiana Ave. Lubbock, Texas 79415 or a favorite charity.
