Graveside services for J.W. Tucker, 66, of Lubbock were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 1, 1994, in Ralls Cemetery with the Rev. Everett Ward, a Baptist minister officiating.

Burial was directed by Franklin Bartley Funeral Home.

Tucker died Sunday, Jan. 30, 1994, in Methodist Hospital in Lubbock.

He was born on May 20, 1927, in Crosby County and moved to Lubbock from Lorenzo in 1977. He was a farmer and a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

Survivors include four sons, Gary of Lubbock, Lonnie of Anchorage, AK, Monty of Walnut Hill, CA, and Mark of Watauga; a sister, Gladys Reese of Lubbock; 15 grandchildren; and 13 great grand children.
