Obituary

Services for Mrs. Mae Tucker, 85, of 1506 39th St. in Lubbock were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in First Baptist Church in Lorenzo.

Officiating were Everett M. Ward, associate pastor of Colonial Baptist Church in Lubbock, assisted by the Rev. Fred Meeks, pastor of First Baptist Church.

Burial was in Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Franklin Bartley Funeral Home.

Mrs. Tucker died at 2 a.m. Sunday in Lubbock Osteopathic Hospital after a brief illness.

Mrs. Tucker was a longtime resident of Lorenzo and had lived in Lubbock one year. She was a native of South Carolina.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Gladys Reese of Lubbock; a son, J.W. Tucker of Lubbock; a brother, William Privette of Houston; a sister, Miss Iva Rivett of Lubbock; 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and a great great grandchild.

Ralls (Special) — Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p. m. Tuesday in the First Baptist Church here for Arbie Franklin Tucker, 71, 809 Fig Ave., Lubbock, who died at his home Sunday morning.

Tucker was a former Ralls resident but had lived in Lubbock the past 12 years.

Officiating at services will be the Rev. Tommy Allen, pastor of the church, assisted by the Rev. Clifton Igo, pastor of the Southside Baptist Church, Lubbock. Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter Funeral Home, Ralls.

Survivors include the wife; two sons, Danferd and J. W. Tucker, both of 809 Fig Ave., Lubbock; a daughter, Mrs. Gladys Reese, Ralls; a sister, Mrs. Telia Oliver, Quitman, Miss.; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Joe Yarborough, Leon, Billy Wayne and L. H. Reese, R. M. and Smithe Privette.
