RALLS (Special) Services for Bert H. Travis, 77, of Ralls will be at 2 p.m. today in the Emma Church of Christ here with Joe Boe, associate minister, officiating.
Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.
Travis died about 6:30 p.m. Sunday in Crosbyton Hospital after a brief illness.
The Bell County native had lived in Crosby County or 72 years. He was a retired cotton ginner.
Travis married Lillian Tate in 1931 in Lubbock.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Paul Coats of Lubbock; five brothers, Ronald of Lubbock, Otis of Amarillo, Walter of Houston, Leon of Dallas and C.B. Jr. of Ralls; three sisters, Flossie Sargent of Ralls, Leta Watson of Lubbock and Hazel Fuller of Amarillo; and three grandchildren.

Graveside services for Lillian Tate Travis, 95, of Lubbock were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Mar. 18, 2000, at Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home.
She died Wednesday, March 15, 2000, at Bender Terrace Nursing Home.
She was born July 9, 1904, in Paradise in Wise County. She married Bert Howard Travis in 1931 in Lubbock. He died Dec. 31, 1978.
She moved to Lubbock in 1980 from Ralls, where she had lived since 1925.
Survivors include a daughter, Norma Coats of Lubbock; a sister, Marge Hood of Mesa, Ariz., two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
