Obituary

Funeral will be held at 10 a.m. today for John A. Trammell, 74, of 499 W. 47th St., victim of a heart attack at Twin Buttes Reservoir Thursday. Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery, Ralls.

The body of Mr. Trammell, a retired cabinetmaker, was found at the reservoir, where he had been fishing, about 10 p.m. Thursday.

He had been a San Angelo resident since 1927.

Officiating at the funeral will be Joe Glenn, pastor of Church of Christ at 321 N. Chadbourne, and J.B. Kinney, pastor of Church of Christ at 126 S. Jackson.

Mr. Trammell is survived by his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Joe Chandler of 907 N. Adams; two sons, Garnell Trammell and Glen Trammell, both of Denver, Colo.; and six grandchildren.

HALE CENTER (Special) - Services for Ethel Trammell, 98, of San Angelo will be at 2 p.m. today in Crosbyton Church of Christ with James Murphy, a San Angelo Church of Christ minister, officiating.

Jim York, Crosbyton Church of Christ minister, will assist.

Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Freeman Funeral Home.

She died at 3 p.m. Saturday in Park Plaza Nursing Home after a lengthy illness.

She was born in Crosby County and moved to San Angelo in 1946. She married John A. Trammell on Dec. 24, 1916, in Ralls. He died in 1965. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include two sons, Garnell of Aurora, Colo., and Glen E. of Lakewood, Colo.; a daughter, Nettie Barnett of San Angelo; a brother, H.C. McDermett of Abilene; six grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
