U.S.Flag   LORENZO (Special) — Services for William A. Townsley, 77, of Lorenzo, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Lorenzo Church of Christ with Tommy Johnson officiating.

Burial was in the Ralls Cemetery under direction of the Carter-Adams Funeral Home in Ralls.

Townsley died at 5 a.m. Thursday at the Crosbyton Hospital.

The Coleman County native was a veteran of World War II. He had been a Lorenzo resident since 1950 after moving here from Portales, NM. He was a barber of profession.

He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Lisa Pruitt of Lorenzo; one sister, Mrs. Lela Williams of Englewood, Calif.; one grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
