Services for Felix Torres, Sr., 81, of Ralls, wee held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, 1998, in St. Michael's Catholic Church in Rals with Fr. Glenn Rosendale officiating.

Rosary was held at 7 p.m. Firday, Nov. 13, 1998 in St. Michael's Catholic Church in Ralls.

Burial was in Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

He died Thursday, Nov. 12, 1998, at University Medical Center in Lubbock.

He was born on Aug. 30, 1917, in Lockhart, TX. He married Geogoria Castilleja on Oct. 7, 1940 in Lockhart, TX. She died on Dec. 4, 1995.

He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Ralls, which he helped build. He was a former member of the Men's Organization and Sacred Heart. He moved to Ralls from Lockhart on Jan. 30, 1950. He worked for Triumph Seed Co. and area gins.

He was preced in death by two sons, Gilbert Torres Herrera who died Dec. 31, 1987, and Pete Torres; and one grandson, Emilio Garcia who died on Sept. 24, 1998.

Survivors include one son, Felix Torres, Jr. of Ralls; three daughters; Elena T. Garcia and Aurora Rodriguez, both of Ralls, and Felicia Torres of Mesquite, TX; one brother, Claudio Torres of Lubbock; four sisters, Profiria Lopez, and Christina Castillo both of Upper Sandusky, OH., Berlandis Herrera of Lovington, NM, and Rosia Esquibel of Lubbock; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were grandsons.
