RALLS (Special) — Services for Catarina Maria Torres, 83, of Ralls will be at 4 p.m. today in St. Michael's Catholic Church with the Re. Tom Parampil, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.
She died at 10:15 p.m. Thursday in Lubbock's South Park Medical Center after a lengthy illness.
She was born in San Marcos and moved to Ralls in 1944. She married Miguel Torres on Dec. 21, 1921, in San Marcos. He died in 1971. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, the Guadalupanas and the Cursillo.
Survivors include four sons, Joe of Lubbock, Jessie of Plainview, Mike of Ralls and Tony of Hereford; three daughters, Virginia Villanueva of Lubbock, Maria Carrillo and Lupe Graham, both of Ralls; a brother, Chema Guerrero of San Marcos; two sisters, Julia Rivas of San Marcos and Leonor Mendoza of Ohio; 47 grandchildren; 114 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
