RALLS (Special) — Services for Sidney Earl Tinnin, 61, of Lubbock will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Ralls First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ron Colwell, pastor, and the Rev. Keith Wiseman, associate pastor of Lubbock's First United Methodist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

Tinnin died Monday, Dec. 23, 1996, in Lubbock's University Medical Center.

He was born Oct. 28, 1935, in Crosbyton. He married Maxine Eide on Nov. 2, 1984, in Houston. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, the Eagle Scouts and Demolay. He was a 32nd Degree Mason, and he graduated from New Mexico Military Institute. He attended Texas Tech University. He moved to Lubbock from Arizona on Oct. 15, 1996. He was a former resident of Lamesa, Midland and Houston.

He was a manager and salesman for a storage products company.

Survivors include his wife; his mother, Lenora Tinnin Spikes of Lubbock; three sons, Sidney Earl Tinnin III and Billy Van, both of Houston, and Kenny Ryan O'Neal of Lake Charles, La.; three daughters, Debra Black of Westend, NC, Cindy Elrod and Cheryl Doggett, both of Midland; six great grandchildren; and a great grandchild.

Maxine TinninMaxine Ardis Tinnin,77, formally of Ralls passed away Sunday, January 29th, 2012 in Lubbock Texas. Graveside services in her honor will be held at Ralls Cemetery, January 31 at 11:00 a.m under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls. She married Sidney Tinnen on November 2, 1984.

Maxine is survived by one cousin Chuck Wilks. Three step-daughters Debra Black, Cindy Elrod, and Cheryl Dogget, three step-sons Sidney Earl Tinnin III Billy Van Tinnin, and Kenny Ryan O'Neal. Also numerous step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and two brothers Larry and Gene.
