RALLS (Special) Services for Henry Tinnell, 68, of Lubbock will be at 4 p.m. today at Shiloh Baptist Church with the Rev. Cleotha Cole of Crosbyton officiating.
Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
Tinnell died at 3:10 p.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Hospital after a lengthy illness.
He was born in Marlin. He married Mary Potter on March 31, 1941, in Memphis. They moved to Lubbock in 1973 from Ralls. He had worked for the Ralls Cotton Compress for the past 20 years. He was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church in Lubbock.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, W.J. of Long Beach, Calif., and James of Lubbock; a daughter, Janice Harvey of Lubbock; a brother, Adams "Dude" of San Antonio; two sisters, Rosie White of Waxahachie and Ruby Peterson of Colorado City; 16 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
