Malcolm Tarleton U.S.Flag   RALLS (Special) - Graveside services for Malcolm Lantz "Mac" Tarleton, 73, of San Angelo will be at 11 a.m. today in Ralls Cemetery with the Rev. Jerry Golden, pastor of Lorenzo's First Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial is under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.

Tarleton died at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in his residence in San Angelo after a lengthy illness. He was under hospice care.

He was born in Denton and moved from Crosby County to San Angelo in 1982. He married Johnnie Hopkins on May 22, 1946, in Big Spring. He was a retired farmer. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and received the Silver Star medal. He was a member of Crosbyton's First Baptist Church and the Concho Bass Club of San Angelo.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Lantz of Irving; and a sister, Mildred Tarleton of San Angelo.
