
Funeral services for Eva Jewellene Switzer, 60, of Ralls were at 5 p.m. Sunday at Ralls First Baptist Church, with Dr. Billy Burke, pastor officiating.Burial was in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.
Mrs. Switzer died at 10 p.m. Friday at Highland Hospital in Lubbock after a short illness.
The Roaring Springs native lived in Lorenzo before moving to Ralls in 1935. The former Eva Chambles married Bill Switzer on Nov. 9, 1935 in Floydada. Mrs. Switzer was a member of Ralls First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; a son, James of Wichita Falls; three daughters, Mrs. Bob Wideman of Ralls, Mrs. Kenneth Bevel of Santa Paula, CA, and Mrs. Tommy Warren of Plains; her mother, Mrs. Clonnie Bell Chambles of Ralls; a brother, Arvle Chambles of Wichita Falls; a sister, Mrs Alyce Clevenger of Mount Vernon; 11 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Kenneth Bevel, pastor of the First Southern Baptist Church of Ceres, Calif., officiating.Burial was in the Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.
Switzer died Thursday, November 23, 1989 at his home after an illness.
He was born in Mansfield and moved from Cone to Ralls in 1954. He married Eva Jewellene Chambles in Floydada on Nov. 9, 1935. She died on Aug. 24, 1979. He was a farmer and a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, James of Wichita Falls; three daughters, Billy Bevel of Ceres, CA, Betty Wideman of Ralls and Judy Warren of Lubbock; a brother, Doc of Amarillo; three sisters, Pearl Reddy of McCoy, Wanda Chambles of Wichita and Thelma Blackwell of Amarillo; nine grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
