Graveside services for Gladys Swim, 90, of Ralls were held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, August 26, 2003 in the Ralls Cemetery with the Rev. Gilbert Ramirez officiating. Services were under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
Mrs. Swim was pronounced dead at her Ralls home on Saturday, August 23, 2003. She was born March 10, 1913 in Custer County, OK, and married Loys Swim Mar. 17, 1934, in Ralls. He preceded her in death May 22, 1993. She moved to Crosby County in 1917. She was a member of Ralls First Baptist Church. She had formerly worked for the Ralls Inn Cafe and the Crystal Theater. She was a graduate of Ralls High School
Survivors include three sons: Roy Lynn Swim of Sundown, Ronnie Swim of Justin and Perry Swim of Arlington, a brother Olan Perryman of Lubbock a sister Erma Lee Pepper of Lubbock, 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
Grandsons served as pallbearers.
