U.S.Flag   Last rites for O.C. Surratt, 45, will be held at 2:30 p.m. today (Thursday) in First Baptist Church, with Mr. C.M. Fields officiating.

Surratt died Tuesday in Veteran's Hospital at Big Spring. He had been in ill health since World War II and had been hospitalized the last three weeks. Surratt moved from Fannin County to Ralls in 1929.

Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter Funeral Home.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Gloria Jean Newsom, Lubbock and Mrs. Sandra Kay Foster, Slaton; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. L.P. Surratt, Ralls; five brothers, R.T. Surratt and Homer Price Surratt, both of Hobbs, NM; Guy Surratt, Ralls; Joe L. Surratt and Travis L. Surratt, both of Odessa; two sisters, Mrs. Walter Parrish and Mrs. Willie Pierce both of Commerce and two grandchildren.
