Funeral services for Mable "Chock" Stone, 89, of Ralls were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 23, 2001, at First Baptist Church with Bruce Cotton, chaplain with Hospice of Lubbock, officiating.

Burial was in Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

She died Wednesday, June 20, 2001 at Crosbyton Hospital.

She was born Oct. 22, 1911, in Paris, Texas. She married Lois K. Stone on April 19, 1949, in Spearman, TX. He died May 14, 1998.

She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Ralls.

She moved to Ralls in 1926 from Paris and was a homemaker.

Survivors include three daughters, Madeline Stone of Silverton, Melba Jo Caskey of San Augustine and Shirley Lois Garrison of Pampa; two sons, Charles Bolton of Lawton, Okla., and Bobby Gene Stone of Amarillo; two sisters, Bonnie Shumaker of Ralls and Edna Dell Loveless of Lubbock; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Kenny Stone, Gary Stone, Kirtus Garrison, Steve Corse, Wesley Caskey, Jimmy D. Stone, Ross Estes, Andrew Stone, and Payton Estes.
