Graveside services for Prentice Stevens, 55, of Clarendon were at 3 p.m. Saturday at Ralls Cemetery.Burial followed under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home in Ralls.
Stevens died at 6:15 a.m. Friday at Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo of a sudden illness.
He was born in Ralls. He was a Clarendon resident the last four years, moving there from Ralls. He was a rancher.
He is survived by a son, Mike of Ralls; two daughters, Cindy Osborne and Jean Hayes, both of San Angelo; five sisters, Toni Woodruff of Lubbock and Vera Finley, Vuyneta Jones, Faye Moore and Gad Chote, all of Ralls; two brothers, D.K. and Billy, both of Lubbock; and eight grandchildren.
