Pearl Stephens, a Ralls resident for almost 61 years, was claimed by death at 4:45 a.m. Sunday at Crosbyton Clinic Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was 80.

Memorial services were at 2 p.m. Monday in First Baptist Church of Ralls. Interment was made in Ralls Cemetery.

A Collin County native, the former Pearl Crues was married to O.D. (Steve) Stephens on July 28, 1924, in Aubrey. The couple moved to Ralls in 1924 from Pilot Point.

Mrs. Stephens was a Baptist and a lifetime member of the Ralls Parent Teacher Association.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Patsy Gray and Betty Parks, both of Ralls; four brothers, four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
