Services for Mrs. Lula Stephens, 71, were held Monday in the Lorenzo Baptist Church. Mrs. Stephens died about 10:30 p.m. Friday in Lubbock Methodist Hospital.The Rev. John Jenkins, pastor, officiated and was assisted by Rev. James Holman of the First United Methodist Church. Burial was in Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Carter Funeral Home of Ralls.
Mr. Stephens was a native of Cane Store, KY. She moved to the Lorenzo area in 1922 from Pilot Point.
Survivors include her husband, Haskell of Lorenzo, three sons, Leonard Stephens of Ruidoso, NM, Russell of Dallas and Cecil of Los Angeles, CA; one daughter, Mrs. Jo Ann Park of Lubbock; 13 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
