RALLS (Special) - Services for Edd Monroe Stark, 96, of Denton will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Adams Funeral Home of Ralls with the Rev. Jim Morrow, Ralls First Baptist Church pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery.

Stark died Saturday, May 10, 1997, in Denton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

He was born Aug. 7, 1900, in Emmet, Ark., and married Josie Alice Anderson on Aug. 8, 1923, in Hope, Ark. She died in 1987. He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Betty Jo Morton, on March 18, 1995.

Stark was a retired oil field driller and a Baptist. He moved to Levelland in 1945, then to Denton in 1996.

Survivors include two sons, Walter Alton of Redding, Calif., and Carroll Edd of Hurst; two daughters, Mary Collet of Strawn and Annette Barlow of Denton; two brothers, the Rev. Buddy of Little Rock, Ark., and Tillman of Tennessee; one sister, Reva Flowers of Hope; 15 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
