Services for Georgia Knight Smith, 90, of Lubbock were held at 3 p.m. Monday, December 22, 1986 in the Emma Church of Christ with Dennis May officiating. Grover Stevens of Lubbock's Caprock Church of Christ will assist.

Burial was in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.

She died at 6:55 a.m. Saturday in the John Knox Medical Center after a lengthy illness.

She was born in Oklahoma and moved from Owens to Lubbock in 1946. She married Clarence Richard Smith Sr. on November 4, 1911, in Sherman. He died in 1947. She was a housewife and a member of the Church of Christ. Three sons, Aubray, Boyd and Floyd, and a daughter, Mildred Crump, preceded her in death.

Survivors include three sons, Dallas of Lubbock, Carl of New Orleans, La., and Geneva Harris of Cone and Eunice Nance of Palm Desert, CA; three sisters, Grace Forbes of Amarillo and Stella Starling and Katie Stallings, both of Fort Worth; 17 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and a great great grandchild.

Grandsons served as pallbearers.
