U.S.Flag   Services for Dallas Smith, 85, of Lubbock and formerly Ralls were held at 11:30 AM, Tuesday, September 21, 2004 at the Emma Church of Christ in Ralls with Tim Mills officiating. Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

He died Sunday, September 19, 2004 at Carillon House in Lubbock.

He was born February 17, 1919 in Ralls, Texas to Clarence Richard, Sr. and Georgia Knight Smith.

He was a member of the Church of Christ and Owens Coop Gin. He was a US army Veteran of WWII and had lived in Ralls almost all of his life.

He is preceded in death by three brothers; Aubrey Smith, Carl Smith and C. R. Smith, Jr. and a sister Mildred Crump.

Survivors include a son: Dallas Earl Smith, Jr. and his wife Pat of Houston, a daughter Sherita Reno and her husband Bob of Odessa, two sisters; Geneva Knight and her husband Lewis of Ralls, Eunice Lloyd of Palm Desert, CA, a sister-in-law Juanita Smith of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, four grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
