RALLS (Special) Services for Mrs. Nova Allen Sherrod, 71, of Ralls, will be in Ralls First Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Saturday with Joe Jackson, minister of Primitive Baptist Church in Floydada, officiating.

Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Carter Funeral Home in Ralls.

Mrs. Sherrod died about 11:20 p.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph's Hospital in Houston.

A native of Waxahachie, she moved to the Ralls area in 1921. She was employed as a cook in Ralls.

Survivors include her husband, Clifford of Ralls; a son, Dan Allen of Channelview; four daughters, Mrs. Truman Marney of Houston, Mrs. Billie Merimon of Springdale, Ark., Mrs. Bonita Allen of Pasadena and Mrs. Helen Sanders of Santa Ana, Calif.; four brothers, Jimmy Geer of Port Lavaca, Raymond Geer of St. Louis, Mo., and Joe Geer and Trice Geer, both of Fremont, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Grace Merritt of Dallas; 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
