Graveside services for Darwin Sessom, 69, of Ralls will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 22, 2010 at the Ralls Cemetery followed by a memorial service in the Ralls Cemetery Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Floyd Haddock with arrangements by Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
Darwin passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2010 at Southwest Regional Hospital in Lubbock. He was born July 9, 1940 in Pilot Point to the late Andrew Nelson and Nellie Fern (Verett) Sessom. On January 2, 1965 he married Carolyn Lynch in Ralls.
Darwin was a lifelong resident of the Ralls area and was a member of the Church of Christ. He had farmed all his life and enjoyed fishing.
Survivors include; his wife Carolyn of Ralls; a son and his wife, Bryan and Charlotte Sessom of Lubbock; a daughter, Amanda Sessom of Lubbock; a sister; Sharon Reeves of Abilene; three grandchildren, Allison Sessom, Emily Sessom and Zackary Payne.
The family will receive friends Friday from 5:00 to 6:00 PM at Adams Funeral Home in Ralls.
