Frank Sellers
Memorial services for William Frank Sellers, 77, were conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in First United Methodist Church of Crosbyton. The Rev. Johnnie Williams, pastor, and the Rev. Vernon O'Kelly, pastor of Ralls First United Methodist Church, officiated.

Masonic graveside services were held prior to interment in Ralls Cemetery. King Funeral Home of Crosbyton directed arrangements.

A well known Crosby County resident since 1916, Mr. Sellers was claimed by death at 6:45 a.m. last Thursday in Methodist Hospital in Lubbock, where he had been a patient 14 days. He had undergone surgery the previous Tuesday to have a heart pacemaker installed.

Born May 30, 1897 in Butler, Alabama, Frank Sellers and the former Pauline Jones were married Nov. 2, 1924 in Crosbyton. He was a farmer.

Mrs. Sellers is among survivors. Other survivors include three sons: Clayton Sellers, Frank Norris Sellers and Kenneth Sellers, all of Ralls; three daughters, Mrs. Marie Brixey of Greenwood, Ark., Mrs. Kathryn Hunter of Lubbock and Mrs. Barbara (George) McNeill of Crosbyton; and 15 grandchildren.

One daughter, Frances Loraine Sellers, preceded her father in death.

Pauline Sellers Graveside services for Pauline Sellers, 90, of Crosbyton, were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20, 1998 at the Ralls cemetery with the Rev. Johnnie Williams of Lubbock officiating.

Burial was in the Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.

She died Saturday, Oct. 17, 1998, at St.Mary Hospital in Lubbock.

She was born Dec. 4, 1907, in Ben Franklin, TX.

She married William Franklin Sellers on Nov. 2, 1924 in Crosbyton, TX., He died July 25, 1974.

She was a member of the Crosbyton First United Methodist church. She was a member of the Crosbyton Senior citizens where she was named Senior Citizen of the Year in 1978. She attended school at Fairview. She was a homemaker. She moved to Crosby County in 1921.

She is preceded in death by a daughter, Frances Loraine Sellers, by two brothers, Houston Jones and Troy Jones, and by a sister, Lillie Ragland.

Survivors include three sons, Clayton and Kenneth Sellers of Ralls, Norris Sellers of Crosbyton; three daughters, Marie Brixey of Greenwood, AR, Kathryn Hunter of Lubbock, and Barbara Lutrick of Floydada; one sister, Mary Lee Beck of Odessa; 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
