RALLS (Special) - Services for Guy Alton Sechrist, 80, of Ralls will be at 2 p.m. today in Ralls First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mike Struve, pastor, officiating.Burial will be in ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.
He died at 1:30 a.m. Saturday in Lubbock's Methodist Hospital after a brief illness.
He was born in Erath County and moved from Lubbock to Ralls in 1933. He married Vera Ruth Sparkman on Jan. 24, 1937, in Lorenzo. He was a retired farmer, and he owned Sechrist Texaco Gas Station in Ralls. He was a member of Ralls First United Methodist Church. His wife died on Jan. 22, 1987.
Survivors include a son, Charles A. of Ralls; two daughters, Frances Davis of Crosbyton and Martha Wilmeth of Ralls; two brothers, Lloyd of Lubbock and David of Lockney; two sisters, Thelma Caudle and Alma McElroy, both of Lubbock; seven grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
