RALLS (Special) - Services for Leonard Schoolcraft, 93, of Ralls are pending with Carter-Adams Funeral Home.

He died at 11:40 p.m. Friday in Crosbyton Clinic Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Schoolcraft was born in Tama County, Iowa, and moved to Ralls in 1914. He married Willie Ann Ferguson on June 27, 1920, in Ralls. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, where he served on the Board of Stewards and several committees. He was an early day steam engine operator and a farmer. A brother, Herbert, died earlier.

Survivors include a son, Don of Dallas; two daughters, Marjorie Criswell of Crosbyton and Doris Matthews of Amarillo; a sister, Ethel Criswell of Ralls; eight grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
