RALLS (Special) Services for Walter Schluter, 84, of Ralls, will be 1:30 p.m. Monday in First United Methodist Church with Elba Hall and the Rev. Howard Marcom officiating.Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.
He died at 1 a.m. Friday in Lubbock's St. Mary's Hospital after a lengthy illness.
He was born in Denton County and married Selma Kettler Sept. 6, 1924, in Ralls. She died in 1981. He was a farmer and a member of the Farmers Union. He moved to Ralls in 1922. He was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Evelyn Corbell of Levelland; three brothers August of Krum, Rudolf of Argyle and Hans of Roane; two sisters, Rhea Markam of Roanoke and Clois Lake of Fort Worth; and two grandchildren.
