Fred Schluter
Fred Schluter, 64, pioneer Ralls resident died June 4th in the Lubbock Highland Hospital.A native of Denton County, he came to Ralls in 1929.
Funeral services were held in the Ralls First Baptist Church with the pastor the Rev. Floyd Haddock officiating, assisted by the Rev. Ross Alexander of Weinert.
Burial was in the Ralls Cemetery with Carter Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Nephews were pallbearers. Deacons of the Church, members of Master Workmen and the Sunday School Class were honorary pallbearers.
He is survived by his wife Leta, and one son Roy of Ralls.
Also surviving are his six brothers; Walter of Ralls, Oscar of Ponder, August of Krum, Rudolph of Argyle, Hans of Rhome, Henry of Fort Worth. Three sisters, Mrs. Willie Ihnfeldt of Ralls, Mrs. Rhea Markham of Roanoke and Mrs. Clois Lake of Fort Worth
Also surviving are two grandchildren Linda and Dave Schluter.

RALLS (Special) - Services for Leta Schluter, 83, of Ralls will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church with the Revs. Jim Morrow, pastor, and Ross Anderson, a Baptist minister from Weinert, officiating.Burial in Ralls Cemetery will be directed by Adams Funeral Home.
Mrs. Schluter died Saturday, Dec. 24, 1994, in Care Inn at Sanger.
She was born July 8, 1911, in Meridian. She married Fred C. Schluter on Nov. 12, 1927, in Denton County. He died June 4, 1970. She was a member of First Baptist Church and of its Women´s Missionary Union. She moved to the Ralls area in 1929 from Denton County. A daughter, Edith Pearl Schluter, died May 13, 1940.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include a son, Roy of Ralls; a brother, Velma "Curley" Paul of Dallas; two grandchildren; and three great grandsons.
