RALLS (Special) - Services for Flossie Sargent, 88, of Slaton will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Emma Church of Christ with Elva Hal and Loyd Hardesty officiating.

Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.

She died at 9:45 p.m. Monday in Lubbock's St.Mary's Hospital after a lengthy illness.

She was born in Rogers and moved to Slaton in 1982 from Ralls. She married Cary Lewis "Spot" Sargent on Sept. 15, 1918, in Cone. He died in 1952. She was a member of the Church of Christ. A daughter, Geneva Fisher, died in 1982.

Survivors include three brothers, C.V. Travis of Ralls, Walter Travis of Houston and Leon Travis of Dallas; two sisters, Leta Watson of Lubbock and Hazel Fuller of Amarillo; two grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
