Services for Mrs. Loveta Sanders, 61, of Muleshoe, were at 1 p.m. Monday in the West Camp Baptist Church, where she was a member. Her nephew, the Rev. Glenn Harlin pastor of the church, officiated.
Burial was in the Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Singleton-Ellis Funeral Home of Muleshoe.
Mrs. Sanders was a Bailey County resident since 1946, when she moved from Ralls. She married Lewis Sanders June 3, 1934 in Post. Her death was caused by cancer.
Survivors include her husband, Lewis; two sisters, Mrs. Morris Pate of Hobbs, NM and Mrs. Charlie Edwards of Ralls; four brothers, J.T. Henderson of Lovington, NM, Judson of Brownfield, Bill of Odessa, Elijah of Phoenix, AZ; and three grandchildren.
Her nephews served as pallbearers, they were: Melton Post, Arvil Edwards, LaWayne Henderson, Rodney Henderson, Troy Edwards, and Keith Post.
M.L. Sanders Jr. is a brother-in-law.

Funeral services for Lewis (Rink) Sanders, 71 of West Camp community were held Saturday, Feb. 25th at the Ellis Funeral Home Chapel in Muleshoe, officiating was his nephew, the Rev. Glenn Harlin, pastor of Plains First Baptist Church and the Rev. V.L. Huggins, pastor of Trinity Baptist Church in Muleshoe.
Burial was in the Ralls Cemetery at 3 p.m.
He died at 2:25 Thursday in his home of a heart attack.
Born in Singleton, Texas, he moved with his parents, M.L. Sanders Sr. to Crosby County in 1924 and farmed south of Ralls, until he moved to Muleshoe in 1946 to farm and his sister, Bonnie Harlin, who had lost her husband that year from cancer.
He married Loueta Henderson in 1934. She preceded him in death in 1974.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Mary) Hukill of Irving, a sister, Mrs. P.L. (Bonnie) Harlin of Muleshoe, her son, the Rev. Glenn Harlin, a brother, M.L. Sanders Jr. of Lubbock, and three grandchildren, Aneta Kay, Gary Wayne and Bryan Elwood, a sister-in-law Mrs. Charlie (Edna) Edwards lives in Ralls.
