Services for Amelia Cisneros Salinas, 62, of Ralls were held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 30, 2003, in the St. Michael´s Catholic Church in Ralls with Rev. Leonardo Pahamtang officiating.

Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Sunday, June 29, 2003, in the same church.

Mrs. Salinas passed away early Saturday morning, June 28, 2003, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.

She was born Dec. 1, 1940, in Robstown and married Jose Salinas. She was a member of St. Michael´s Catholic Church and was a homemaker. She moved to Ralls in 1960 from Robstown.

Survivors include her husband, Jose Salinas of Ralls; one son, Jerry Salinas of Ft. Worth; three daughters, Angie Salinas-Bautista, Elodia Salinas and Leticia Gutierrez, all of Ralls; two brothers, Raymond Cisneros of Campbellton, TX, and Pablo Cisneros of Victoria; five grandchildren, Zachary Martinez, Alicia Bautista, Juan Cruz Garcia, Alejandro Gutierrez and Andres Salinas.

Pall bearers were Jerry Salinas, Zachary Martinez, Thomas Gutierrez, Raymond Cisneros, Pablo Cisneros, and Alfred Davis.

Rosary for Jose Salinas, Jr., 65, of Ralls was at 7:00 PM Sunday, March 23, 2008 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Ralls. Mass was celebrated at 10:00 AM, Monday, March 24, 2008 at the same church with Deacon Benny Brito officiating. Burial was in the Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls. Joe passed away Friday, March 21, 2008 at his Ralls residence.

He was born on December 8, 1942 in Lubbock to Jose Salinas, Sr. and Genoveva (Lopez) Salinas. On July 18, 1964 he married Amelia Cisneros. She preceded him in death on June 28, 2003.

He moved to Ralls in 1962 from Fluvanna, was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Ralls and had worked as a farmer and for an oil company.

Survivors include; a son; Jerry Salinas of Ft. Worth, three daughters; Angie Bautista and Elodia Salinas of Ralls, Leticia Gutierrez of Ft. Worth, his mother Genoveva Lucio of Sunnyside, WA, a sister Julia Abolos of Toppenish, WA, five grandchildren; Zachary Martinez, Alicia Bautista, Juan Cruz Garcia, Alejandro Gutierrez, Andres I. Salinas and Gabriela J. Salinas and a great grandson Matthias I. Lara.

Serving as casket bearers will be Jerry Salinas, Zach Martinez, Pete Gutierrez and Juan Garcia. Honorary casket bearers will be Juan (J. C.)Garcia, Alejandro Gutierrez and Andres I. Salinas.
