LORENZO (Special) — Services for Laura E. Sales, 85, of Lorenzo were at 3 p.m. Wednesday in First United Methodist Church in Lorenzo, with the Rev. Sidney Parsley, former pastor, officiating.
Burial was in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
Mrs. Sales died at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday in Crosbyton Hospital after a lengthy illness.
A Crosby County resident since 1924, she was born in Ladonia. She married J.W. Sales in 1945. He preceded her in death. She was a member of Lorenzo First United Methodist Church and the Lorenzo Garden Club.
Survivors include five sons, Harold Rhew and Billy Sales, both of Lubbock, Jack Rhew and John D. Sales, both of Lorenzo, and A.J. Sales of Hurst; five daughters, Fara Malone of Kermit, Frances Reynolds, Maxine Reynolds and Laura Jean Blevins, all of Lubbock, and Sara Jane Dycus of Lorenzo; 23 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
