RALLS — Services for L.C. Roye Sr., 85, of Las Cruces, N.M., were held at 10 a.m. Monday Jan. 21 at Adams Funeral Home in Ralls with Rev. Randy Bartley officiating.
Burial was in Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
He died on Jan. 17, 2002 at Las Cruces, NM.
He was born Dec. 15, 1916, in Lampasas.
He married Ruby Collins on May 4, 1940, in Ralls. L.C. was first a farmer with his father in Texas. Later he worked as a mechanic for autos and tractors. He then became involved with electrical construction in Texas and New Mexico. Much of the work was high-powered for industry and irrigation. He had been a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge, a volunteer fireman, and a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He was also an avid fan of baseball. He was retired and had been living in Las Cruces for the last 15 years.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby Roye of Las Cruces, NM; ; two sons and their wives, Louis C. Roye Jr. and wife Cammile of Hatch, N.M., and Ronald D. Roye and wife Wava of Lewisville; one daughter, Lynda Loftin of Princeton, Ind.; one brother, Vernon O. of Ralls; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside memorial services for Ruby Mae Roye, 95, of Princeton, Indiana, will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, November 20, 2010 at the Ralls Cemetery Chapel with Rev. Ken Bevel officiating. Services are under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
Mrs. Roye passed away November 5, 2010 in Princeton, Indiana. She was born August 19, 1915 in Navarro County, Texas to the late Felix and Olivia (Dubose) Collins. On May 4, 1940 she married Louis C. Roye in Ralls, Texas. He preceded her in death January 17, 2002. She is also preceded in death by a brother, Felix Collins. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist Church. Ruby moved to Hatch, New Mexico in 2002 from Las Cruces, New Mexico, then to Princeton, Indiana in 2006.
Survivors include a daughter; Lynda Banet and husband Jerry of Princeton, Indiana, two sons; Louis C. Roye, Jr. and wife Camille of Hatch, New Mexico and Ronald D. Roye and wife Wava of Lewisville, Texas, one brother; Dwain Collins of Clovis, New Mexico and a sister; Nita Elms of Lubbock. Also surviving are six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
