Memorial services for Mary Timmons Rose, 37, of Lubbock were at 2 p.m. March 12, at Rall First Baptist Church with the Rev. Buzz Timmons of Brownfield officiating.

Graveside services were at 1 p.m. on Sunday in Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home.

She died Friday, March 10, 2000, at Lubbock's UMC (University Medical Center).

She was born Oct. 14, 1962, in Fort Worth, TX.

She was an honor student and graduate of Monterey High School in Lubbock and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Tech University. She taught school for 2 years at Early and for 7 years at Hereford. She was a member of the Association of Texas Professional Educators and lived in Lubbock area most of her life.

Survivors include three sons, Austin Rose, Justin Rose and Michael Rose, all of Lubbock; one daughter, Michelle Rose of Lubbock; her parents, Wayne and Myra Timmons of Lubbock; one brother, Phillip Timmons of Lakeview, TX.; and her niece and nephew, Keviah and Rankin Timmons, of Lakeview.

Pallbearers were Steve Poteet, Stacy Timmons, Sammy Bownds, Kelly Campbell, Scott Bates, and Howard Timmons.

The family suggests Scholarships in memory of Mary Timmons Rose to Texas Tech School of Human Sciences, Lubbock, Texas 79409.

The family received friends after the memorial service at the Ralls First Baptist Church on Sunday, March 12, 2000.
