Graveside services for Bessie Rolen, 87, were held Friday, March 9, 2001 at 4:00 p.m. in the Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ralls with the Rev.Jackie Farmer officiating.
She died on Thursday, Mar. 8, 2001, at Covenant Medical Center-Lakeside in Lubbock.
She was born July 19, 1913, in Sherman, TX. She was a homemaker. She also operated day care centers for children in Durant, OK; Stratford, TX, and in Crosbyton. She had lived in Crosbyton for the last 18 years.
Survivors include: one daughter, Treva Rolen of Crosbyton; one son, Ardith Rolen of Stratford; a sister, one daughter-in-law; Dorothy Rolen of Stratford; one sister, Eula McDonald of Bakersfield, CA; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
