Graveside services for Richard Rogers, 63, of Lubbock will be at 10:30 AM Saturday, March 13, 2010 at the Ralls Cemetery Chapel with Rex Thomas officiating. Burial will be in the Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls. Richard passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at his home in Lubbock.
He was born February 10, 1947 in Milam County, Texas to Ely and Annie Lee (Smith) Rogers and lived most of his life in Crosby County. On March 15, 2001 he married Donna Puckett in Clovis, New Mexico.
He is preceded in death by his father, Ely Rogers and a brother, Jimmy Rogers.
Richard was a farmer, night club owner and also did custom harvesting.
Survivors include; his wife, Donna of Lubbock; a son, Hayden Rogers of Lubbock; his mother, Annie Lee Rogers of Ralls; four brothers, Herman, William, and Roy Rogers all of Ralls and George Thomas Rogers of Crosbyton and a sister, Katie Corpora of Hearne.
