Rosary for Sylvester Robledo, 69, of Big Spring will be at 7:00 PM, Sunday, June 5, 2005 at St. Michael's Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, Monday June 6, 2005 at the same church with the Rev. Jesse Cruz officiating. Burial will follow in the Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
Sylvester passed away June 1, 2005 in Mission.
He was born July 3, 1935 in Shiloh, Texas to Esteban and Refugia (Villasenor) Robledo. On June 21, 1958 he married Maria Ana Moreno in Crosbyton.
He worked as a farm laborer and did yard work. He had lived in Ralls all his life before moving to Big Spring in 2000.
Survivors include; his wife Mary Ann of Big Spring, four sons; Jessie of Lubbock, Sylvester, Jr., Randy and Michael all of Big Spring, three daughters; Norma Nava of Mission, Gloria Martinez of Houston, Patsy Robledo of Big Spring, four brothers; John and Eulalio of Ralls, Brijido of Lubbock and Esteban, Jr. of Shallowater, three sisters; Frances Benavidez of Corpus Christi, Felisita Trevino of Ralls and Sarah Gonzales of Bastrop, 34 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be; Jose Nava, Jose Martinez, Jessie Robledo, Jr., Manuel Ramos, Sylvester Robledo, III, Randy Robledo, Jr. and Sammy Robledo.
