RALLS (Special) — Services for Johnnie Robertson, 80, of Ralls will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Emma Church of Christ with Vance Davis, minister, and Roy Shave, minister of Bellevue Church of Christ, officiating.

Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.

Mrs. Robertson died Wednesday, March 29, 1995, in Ralls Nursing Home.

She was born Aug. 24, 1914, in Marlow, OK. She married Jack Robertson on Dec. 21, 1935, in Floydada. She was a member of the Church of Christ, and she taught Bible class and Vacation Bible School. She was a member of the Ralls Chamber of Commerce and Ralls PTA. She served as the PTA president and state representative, and she was a member and president of the Ralls Band Boosters. She was a den mother in Cub Scouts, and she had served as a class sponsor at Ralls schools. A son, Jack, died Dec. 17, 1984.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Danny of Spur; two brothers, Jean Flurry and Dan Cecil Flurry, both of San Antonio; seven grandchildren; and a great grandchild.

Services for Emory Francis "Jack" Robertson, 81, of Ralls were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 1, 1995, at Emma Church of Christ in Ralls with Roy Shave and Vance Davis officiating.

Burial was in the Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home.

He died Monday, October 30, 1995, at 11:25 a.m. in Crosbyton Hospital.

He was born February 28, 1914 in Ponder, Texas. He married Johnnie Flurry on December 21, 1935 in Floydada, Texas. She preceded him in death on March 29, 1995.

He lived in this area since 1917 and was a farmer in the Ralls-Cone area.

One son Jack Robertson, preceded him on December 17, 1984.

He was on the Cone School Board form 1944-1950 and the Ralls School Board from 1950-1952. He has been a member of the Rotary Club since 1952 and served as President from 1954-1955. He was a member of Crosby County A.S.C.S. from 1950-1956. He was a member of the Ralls Emma Church of Christ where he was a Sunday School teacher from 1954-1978. He served on the Ralls City Council for 6 years and was mayor of Ralls for 3 years. He was on the South Plains Advisory Council for aging from 1975-1981 and appointed by Past Governor Bill Clements to the Governor's Committee on Aging in 1981. He was also commissioned as a member of the Whitehouse Conference on Aging in Washington, D.C. in 1981. He was the Ralls Outstanding Citizen Throughout the Years in 1978 and served on organizing the Board of Directors of the "White River Lake Authority." He was Director of Chamber of Commerce from 1972-1973 and Chamber of Commerce Citizen through the years for 2 years and in 1992 was named family of the year.

Survivors include one son, Dan Robertson of Spur; seven grandchildren, Jack Robertson and Corey Robertson of Floydada, Stacy Bain of Plainview, Dawn Robertson of Ruidoso, NM, and Derek Robertson, Danielle Robertson and Dionne Robertson all of Lubbock; and one great grandson, Ryan Robertson of Floydada.
