Services for Hallie D. Roberts, 91, of Ralls, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at the Ralls Cemetery Chapel with Nancy Edge officiating. Burial in the Ralls Cemetery is under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
Hallie was born May 28, 1919 in Ralls, Texas to the late Orvel Hill and Josephine Amanda (Buchanan) Carr. She married Ralph White in June of 1935. He preceded her in death April 12, 1956. She then married Douglas Earl Roberts March 5, 1960 in Lorenzo. He preceded her in death August 4, 1989.
A lifelong resident of Ralls, Hallie was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church and worked as a press operator at Wren's Cleaners in Idalou and for over 32 years as well as Carpenter Cleaners in Ralls and Lorenzo.
Survivors include a daughter, Judy Huff of Wolfforth; three grandchildren, Katie Copeland of Lubbock and Jayme Huff and Hank Huff, both of Wolfforth; twelve great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. Grandsons will serve as casket bearers.
