RALLS (Special) - Services for Sunday Rivera, 73, of Post are pending with Carter-Adams Funeral Home here.He died at 2 p.m. Monday at Crosbyton Clinic Hospital after a lengthy illness.
The Palo Pinto County native married Delfine Ramos March 8, 1941, in Aspermont. He was a farmer and rancher, moving to the Ralls area in 1948.
He was a Catholic.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Mary Rodriguez, Janie Reyna and Sandra Rivera, all of Lubbock; seven sons, Rudy of Post, Silas of Portales, NM, Gilbert and Albert, both of Ralls, Victor of Crosbyton, Guy and Roy, both of Lubbock; three sisters, Romanoa Ocon of Abilene, Frances Rentia of Plainview and Janie Sanchez of Bakersfield, Calif.; three brothers, Joe Robinson of Roswell, NM, Ernest Rivera of Plainview and Pete Rivera of Amarillo; 18 grandchildren; and a great grandchild.
