MRS. RICHARDSON PASSED AWAY SUN.
Death Comes After Long IllnessMrs. Jettie Richardson, wife of C.D. Richardson, passed away at 10 o'clock Sunday night at the home of her sister, Mrs. R. S. M. Carter, after a lingering illness of several years, caused from heart trouble.
Funeral services were conducted from the Carter home by the Rev. C.E. Dick, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Crosbyton, and interment made in the Ralls cemetery Monday afternoon.
Mrs. Richardson was reared in Crosby county, having attended school at Old Emma, later moving with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Matt Davis, to Ralls where she was married to C.D. Richardson. The past few years she with her family, have made their home at Blackwell, Okla., where she was stricken last June and brought here to the home of her sister, Mrs. R.S.M. Carter.
Besides her husband, the deceased leaves two small children, David, age nine; Dorothy Nell, a baby daughter, aged four, her father, Matt David of Ralls; three sisters, Mrs. Novis Shell of Lubbock, Mrs. L.A. Revis of Clarendon and Mrs. R.S.M. Carter of Crosbyton; three brothers, Herbert Davis of Crosbyton, T.J. Davis of Slide and A.J. Davis of Caoli, Oklahoma and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her departure.
The deceased was a member of the Presbyterian church, a faithful wife, a loving mother and a devout Christian. The esteem in which she was held, was testified by the beautiful floral offering. The Review extends condolence to the bereaved family.
