RALLS (Special) Services for Pauline Richards, 88, of Ralls will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. David Ray, pastor, and the Rev. E.R. McGregor, a retired minister, officiating.

Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.

She died at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Ralls Nursing Home after a lengthy illness.

She was born in Valley View and had lived in Ralls since December 1916, moving from Lockney. She married William "Hill" Richards Sept. 19, 1918, in Ralls. He died June 9, 1928. She was the former owner of Miladies Shoppe in Ralls and was the first librarian in Crosby County. She was a Methodist.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. George (Jane) Blair of Lake Charles La.; four grandsons, and two great grandchildren.
