BROWNFIELD (Special) - Services for D.L. "Judge" Richards, 81, of Brownfield will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday in the Memorial Chapel of the Brownfield Funeral Home with the Rev. A.J. Franks, retired Baptist minister, officiating.

Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

He died at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Brownfield Regional Medical Center after a lengthy illness.

He was born in Bell County. He moved to Crosby County in 1906 and to Terry County in 1941. He was a retired farmer. He was a World War II veteran.

Survivors include two brothers, Guy of Fort Worth and H.C. of Ralls; two sisters, Kay Gibson of Burbank, Calif., and Bonnie Lowe of Brownfield.
