Services for Nellie Reese, 90, of Ralls were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 23, 1998, at Ralls First Baptist church with the Rev. Gene Hawkins officiating.Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.
Mrs. Reese died Monday, Dec. 21, 1998, at Methodist Hospital in Lubbock.
She was born Mar. 14, 1908, in Erath County, TX. She married Robert E. Reese, Sr., on Dec. 29, 1930 in Clovis, NM. He died Oct. 18, 1988.She joined Mount Zion Primitive Baptist church in Crosbyton in April of 1934. She was a homemaker. She moved to Ralls Jan. 1920, from Erath County, coming in a covered wagon.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Reese, Jr., of Robert Lee, TX, and Phil Reese of Ralls; four daughters, Roberta Harrell of Lubbock, Betty Fewell-Schumacher of Wilcox, AZ, Sue Crone of Ralls, and Thelma Mallow of Buffalo Springs Lake; 12 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Pall Bearers were Mike Harrell, Kevin Fewell, Kory Fewell, Robby Reese, Chuck Crone, and Scott Crone.
