Funeral services for Willie Farris Rasco, 65, of Abilene were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Lorenzo Assembly of God Church with the Rev. David Causby, minister, officiating, assisted by the Rev. R.L. Owens of Plainview.

Burial was in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.

Mrs. Rasco died Friday morning in Abilene. A justice of the peace ruled the death was from natural causes.

She was born Jan. 13, 1916, in Brownwood and came to the South Plains as a young girl. Her husband, Thomas Rasco, died in 1966.

Survivors include a son, Ross of Lorenzo; three daughters, Della Mae Bartley of Petersburg, Emma Bartley of Plainview and Betty Perron of Abilene; four brothers, Lummie Bryan of Downey, Calif., Elmer and Jimmy, both of Spring Valley, Calif., and Robert of Benton harbor, Mich.; a sister, Sara Rasco of San Diego, Calif.; 17 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
