Funeral services for Willie Farris Rasco, 65, of Abilene were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Lorenzo Assembly of God Church with the Rev. David Causby, minister, officiating, assisted by the Rev. R.L. Owens of Plainview.Burial was in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.
Mrs. Rasco died Friday morning in Abilene. A justice of the peace ruled the death was from natural causes.
She was born Jan. 13, 1916, in Brownwood and came to the South Plains as a young girl. Her husband, Thomas Rasco, died in 1966.
Survivors include a son, Ross of Lorenzo; three daughters, Della Mae Bartley of Petersburg, Emma Bartley of Plainview and Betty Perron of Abilene; four brothers, Lummie Bryan of Downey, Calif., Elmer and Jimmy, both of Spring Valley, Calif., and Robert of Benton harbor, Mich.; a sister, Sara Rasco of San Diego, Calif.; 17 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
