Elizabeth Rackley

Elizabeth Rackley Elizabeth Ann Rackley, 17, died at 1:25 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, of a congenital heart problem. A senior at Coahoma High school, she was stricken at school.

Born Nov. 29, 1961 in Lubbock, she was the daughter of the late Bonnie Ruth Sanders Rackley and Dean Rackley.

Services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday in College Baptist Church in Big Spring. The Rev. Monroe Teeters officiated.

Burial was made at 4 p.m. Saturday in the Ralls Cemetery, with a brief graveside service for Ralls friends.

Attending services at Coahoma were uncles, Mr. and Mrs. M. L. Sanders Jr. of Ralls, Lewis Sanders of Muleshoe, Rev. Glenn Harlin of Plains, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Haskill of Irving.

Miss Rackley was a member of the First Baptist Church in Coahoma, the Coahoma school bank, National Honor Society and the Office Education Association.

She is survived by a 14 year old brother, Robert Dean rackley; her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Rackley, and their children, James Kyle and Tobye Wayne, with whom she and her brother made their home; two half sisters, Mrs. Brenda Kay George of Clyde and Sharla Dean Rackley of the U.S. Air Force in North Carolina; her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert I. Rackley of Lubbock.
