John (Romeo) Quincy was born February 13, 1915 in San Augustine, TX to Robert Miller and Mary Blake. He married Claudie Pearl Harley in 1930. A daughter, Cleo, was born to this union.
He moved to Rals in 1937. He married Hattie Graham on June 18, 1938. Three sons and one daughter were born to this union. John was a farmer until his retirement.
RALLS (Special) Services for Hattie Quincy, 71, of Ralls will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Billy Wiley, pastor of Shiloh Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.
Mrs. Quincy died at 6:05 a.m. Sunday in her residence after a lengthy illness.
She was born in Corsicana and moved to Ralls in 1936. She married John Quincy on June 18, 1938, in Ralls. She was a homemaker and a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Nathan of Red Oak and J.L. of Ralls; two daughters, Darlene Williams of Amarillo and Cleo Castell of Dallas; a brother, Jimmy Dale Graham of Dalhart; two sisters, Dorthy Lenford of Odessa and Herelene Jackson of San Antonio; 21 grandchildren; 53 great grandchildren; and 27 great great grandchildren.

RALLS (Special) Services for John Quincy, 82, of Ralls will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday September 13, 1997, in Shiloh Baptist Church in Ralls with the Rev. William Watson, pastor, and the Rev. Grover Neal officiating.
Burial will follow in the Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.
Mr. Quincy died at 5:04 a.m. Monday, Sept. 8, 1997, in Crosbyton Clinic Hospital.

Survivors include a son, Nathaniel of Waxahachie; two daughters, Darlene Williams of Amarillo and Cleo Casteel of Dallas; two sisters, Gertrude Lamdrick of San Diego, Calif., and Pearline Jackson of Tyler; 21 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; and 30 great-great-grandchildren.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
