RALLS (Special) Services for Ida Wright Priddy, 84, of Ralls will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. David Ray, pastor, and the Rev. Howard Marcum of Levelland, officiating.
Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.
She died Tuesday at Methodist Hospital in Lubbock after a lengthy illness.
She was born in the Farmer community where she lived until 1963, moving to Ralls. She married Buril Priddy in 1924 in Ralls. She was a housewife. She was a member and Sunday School teacher at First United Methodist Church, where she was active in the Women's Society of Christian Service. She was a member of the Joy Group, where she was Woman of the Year. She had served as president of the Garden Club and Study Club. She was one of the second sets of twins born in Crosby County. She and her husband were honored as the Couple of the Year in 1978.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Joe B. of Ralls; four daughter,s Frances Dendy of Petersburg, Betty Hatfield of Dallas, Nell Ledbetter and Mary Gillon, both of Ralls; two sisters,Lillian Ross and Beulah Foster, both of Rals; 14 grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

RALLS (Special) Services for Buril F. Priddy, 99, of Ralls will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Ralls First United Methodist Church with the Revs. Ron Colwell, pastor, and Jim Morrow, pastor of Ralls First Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.
Priddy died Wednesday, March 15, 1995, in Ralls.
He was born July 6, 1895, in Bell County. He married Ida Wright on March 30, 1924, in Ralls. She died Dec. 17, 1985. He was a member of Ralls First United Methodist Church, Farmer school board, Ralls Lions Club, Ralls Joy Group, Ralls Senior Citizens and the American Legion. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
He farmed in the Farmer Community until retiring in 1963. Two sons, Billy Gene and Joe Buril, preceded him in death.
Survivors include four daughters, Frances Dendy of Petersburg, Mary Gillon and Floy Nell Ledbetter, both of Ralls and Betty Hatfield of Dallas; 14 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
