Services for R.V. Pratt, 77, of Ralls, were held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 7, 1989 in the Ralls First Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Morrow, pastor and Rev. E.C. Chron, of Carrollton, officiating.
Burial followed in the Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.
Mr. Pratt died at 4:49 p.m. Wednesday, July 5, 1989 in Lubbock's Methodist Hospital following a lengthy illness.
He was born Oct. 25, 1911 in Floyd County, TX and married Juanita Pettit July 14, 1950 in Slaton, TX. He was a member of the Ralls First Baptist Church where he was a member of the Steadfast Sunday School Class. He was a former Sunday School teacher of the Young Boys Class. He was a farmer and had lived in this area all his life. A son, Vernon Odell Paschal preceded him in death June 19, 1965.
Survivors include: his wife, Juanita Pratt of Ralls; one daughter, Juanice Woodard of Irving; one sister, Florence Merriott of Lubbock; 3 grandchildren, Denise Park of Irving, Rick Woodard of Austin, and Rob Woodard of Irving; one great grandchild, Aaron Parker of Irving.

RALLS (Special) Services for Juanita Pratt, 82, of Irving will be at 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Floyd Haddock officiating.Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home.
She died on Thursday, Nov. 25, 1999, at Baylor Medical Center of Irving.
She was born Sept. 24, 1917, in Abernathy. She married R.V. Pratt on July 14, 1950, in Slaton. He died July 5, 1989, in Slaton. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ralls. She attended the North Irving Baptist Church after she moved to Irving in May 1991. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by a son, Vernon Odell Paschal on June 19, 1965.
Survivors include a daughter, Juanice Woodard of Irving; two brothers, Hugh Pettit of Abernathy and Vernon Pettit of Gainesville; two sisters, Ella Mae Horton of Saugus, Calif., and Tinie Williamson of Graham; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
