RALLS � Services for Odell Poteet, 67, of Wolfforth will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Ralls First Baptist Church with the Rev. Ken Horn officiating.
Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
He died Monday, Dec. 2, 2002.
He was born Nov. 17, 1915, in Parnell, Hall County. He married Willie Fay "Bill" Wilson on Jan. 27, 1940, in Floydada. She died May 4, 2002.
He was a member of Ralls First Baptist Church and former member of Ralls Lions Club. He worked for Henry Stafford and had owned and operated Poteet Construction. He moved to Lubbock in 1969 from Ralls.
Survivors include a son, Troy Dell "Smokey" Poteet of Wolfforth; four daughters, Mary Nell Thomas of Wolfforth, Nita Vincent of Lubbock, Rita Jernigan of Weatherford and Jackie Clines of Robinson; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
The family suggests memorials to Vista Care Hospice, 7606 University Ave., Ste. C, Lubbock, TX 79423 or Meal on Wheels, Box 362, Wolfforth, TX 79382.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
